French dueling pistol signed “La Couture A Lyon”. Profusely engraved and carved stock. Measures 16” overall with a 9 ¾” octagon barrel of .58 caliber rifled. Set trigger. Very good uncleaned condition with coating of dried oil and dirt. Action and set trigger working. Would clean well and stored for decades in Dr. Cairns collection.
